Over organizing

In trying to not let my email in-box become overloaded (something in the past that has led to email bounces), I accidentally deleted some that were important to me. As in I cannot reply to them without them and they are gone. MsTidy had also cleared out the trash before realizing what she had done.

Which means SUNNY, if you are still reading this blog, write me again. I had intended to write back but was swamped with getting the Tucson house ready, the trip home, and then getting together with the kids; so I hadn't written but intended to as soon as things settled down.

And people wonder why I let my inbox pile up too much!

Sorry you lost some items that you didn't want to. I let my in box get way too stuffed. My wife teases me about it. Sometimes I click the button to sort them by sender and then I go through and delete many of them. But I have done that too where I deleted the wrong thing and then had to ask someone, "What did you ask me?".

It doesn't take long for an in[box to be full. I don't think I will ever get mine back to normal after being away for a mere ten days. I have deleted many things unread that I would have read before, but there are just so many hours in the day.

I do that, too, sometimes. I think it's easy to do when you are writing and reading blogs. It takes a lot of work to keep up and then the "real" world imposes duties on your time. And the beat goes on . . .

Xome of the junk mail can pile up sooo quickly. If I have bought some little thing from some company---ENDLESS Announcements arrove on an almost daily basis.
Trying to Opt Out, doesn't always work! I cannot imagine what my in-box would be like of I couldn't go on and delete what needs to be deleted....

Some of the cute things that arrive in email are fun to read but they do seem to be multiplying faster than I can keep up with them. I've taken to just deleting any with no subject, even if I know who they are from, and I'll often delete others that I really don't think I'll be particularly interested in. Undoubtedly I have gotten rid of some things I would have enjoyed but I think I have survived without them.

Have you noticed some of the newer blog comments, like yours above from Anonymous, that are not particularly offensive but really make no sense? I wonder what reasoning is behind them?

Dick, I have decided that when they don't have a link to sell something and seem to be trying to make a point that it's another language that they normally speak. That one seemed to be trying to say they agreed and likely to the blog before this one as it was the one with a link to an article. Where blogs get readers from around the world, I think it's pretty amazing and much appreciated when they are visiting here and especially want to comment. Very cool what blogging does in bringing us together
