Beginning October 21, this blog, Rain Trueax's Rainy Day Thoughts, will have a co-author-- painter and long-time friend, Diane Widler Wenzel. We have been sharing, encouraging, and discussing life for over 50 years. We don't always agree... I think this will be fun trip for us both. New posts will be on Saturdays and otherwise randomly as something of interest happens.

Going along with the fractals, comes this link from a friend:

Our World May Be a Giant Hologram

Isn't it a fascinating world!

"The idea that we live in a hologram probably sounds absurd" Not at all---Such an understanding is central to Buddhist metaphysics and for that matter Plato's. Fascinating stuff---indeed----particularly as applied to the manifestations of the Mandelbrot projections. Every time I buy fresh ginger, I remember the Mandelbrot! :)

I recall what an old Black man told me when I was a boy. That was before African-American became popular. "When dat sun be hot find you some shade boy!" Wisdom true wisdom.

Very fascinating article, Rain. Thanks for sharing it. Though I know virtually nothing about physics, I've always believed that what we know is a fraction of what actually is.
