the wild goose

Geese flying free
Remind me
of an old song
I sung many
years ago--

'My heart
goes where
the wild goose goes.'

They head north--
as I turn south

but their song
and the shadow
of their wings
remain with me

Stunning photos! "... but their song and the shadow of their wings remain with me" - I'm keeping that beautiful image with me -- thank you!

Did you take these photos yourself? Wow! I assume that Oregon has finally come up for air from the rain.

thank you on enjoying the words and glad you both liked the pictures. It was a quick trip down here, so not as much time with the birds as I would have liked. I explained the details of the photos on the next blog.
