When their master returns

If you want to have a good cry, try a few of these showing soldiers as they return home and the excitement of their dogs. So beautiful. The emotion in those dogs just isn't possible to describe. That's the thing with our pets. We can't tell them what we are doing, why we are gone, why they are going to the veterinarian, what the reasons are for so many things, but the love, well that just can't be denied. There are a series of the videos that you can go through.

That is really touching. Thank you for posting this emotional reminder that our soldiers are people and not just numbers on a chart.

The really tough part of it is to think of all the families that don't get that happy ending and realize if we keep fighting wars, these families will go through it again :(

Watching those dogs respond with such love is so touching. They all make a similar sound, so excited and completely unabashed. Nothing held back, an excitement that says it all. Beautiful.

Thanks for posting that Rain. That was quite moving. And to your point, it does make one sad to think that when we have to leave these precious creatures behind there is no way for them to be able to understand our sudden absence.
