Fall is in the air

It's fall-- it's fall.
A glorious time of year
when the birds and bees
gather the last of the season's bounty.

A nice series. My sunflowers are all done blooming and I have cleaned and edited the hundreds of sunflower photos that I have. It seems I am addicted to taking sunflower photos!

with good reason. They offer such interesting color and then if you get the bees or birds with them, it's even better. When we are gone for a few months, they might give our winter birds some food... if they don't eat them up too fast ;). We were going to harvest the sunflower seeds for ourselves but decided the birds needed them more

It's still very hot here.....! It's great that you are leaving the seeds for the Birds.....!

Love seeing these photos. We didn't plant any sunflowers this year, so it's truly wonderful to see yours. Fall is always such a beautiful time of the year.
