Sunday was the day I wanted it shorter and Sunday, where it was storming heavily, was no day I wanted to drive into town even if I currently had a favorite salon up here which I don't. (I do have one in Tucson but it'd be even farther to drive.)
So I got out my comb, scissors and pulled Farm Boss into making sure the longest lengths were even as I did the shaping. I am not sure if it's yet short enough. That's how I do it-- taking off a few inches at a time until I finally feel-- that's it.
Sometimes I just want a change and I guess with the frustration over what's going on in our country, this is one thing I can change-- fast.

You look mahvelous dahling!!!!
I'm wearing my hair a tad shorter these days -- I'm not sure is I like it but remind myself that it grows back.
Fall is my favorite time of year and each fall makes me want to change something, or start something new and my hair almost always gets in my crosshairs when that happens. Just a thought, and your haircut looks great!
Yeah, I'm getting that "need to cut my hair shorter" feeling, too. Not sure it has to do with what's going on in our country. It may be a changing of the seasons thing. In Spring I want always want to grow it out.
And btw, I agree with Kay- you look marvelous. :)
You did a fabulous job with Farm Boss' eyes for evenness....It's funny---I would think Summer would be when you would want your hair short, what with the HEAT and all---Well, I say, to each his own! GREAT Job, my dear.
I think it's because of wearing it up easily, Naomi and letting it flow free when it's not hot. Winter seems like more sophisticated time maybe. And thanks all on the cut ;)
Love your new hair, Rain!
You look gorgeous!
Yep. That's very nice.
I left the computer and came back and your blogger profile was on my screen. I had been at Tabor's, so maybe my mouse was sitting on your link there?? I recognize a couple of my regular blog friends in your comments.
I am the same I keep it longer in the summer so I can put it up. In winter not so much, so I need a good cut. http://looseleafnotes.com
