Good article. It is time for the rock star sideshow to end and time for accountability and governing to begin. Is Obama really up to the task of being President of the United States? I hope the answer is yes, but what we have seen so far gives me doubt.

Did you see 60 Minutes tonight? He was LAUGHING at the state of the economy...Steve Croft even asked him if he was punch drunk!

And laughing on Leno about the Special Olympians showed NO class.

Ingineer is right, this guy's luster is wearing off real quick...he has ZERO executive experience...and it shows.

One term and gone...if that long.

Did you watch 60 minutes or just read the same articles about it that I read? After a lot of these performances from politicians, the only ones who care about that are those on either extreme.

Regarding 2012, I wouldn't bet on the end result for Obama when he doesn't suit the right because I used to think the same thing about Bush. Jokes about not finding WMDs in his office when people were dying, losing arms and legs? A multitude of things he said that have even been made into a book with how ridiculous or silly they were. He got reelected. It's not an easy job and Obama will win next time based on how well he suits his base and the middle. The right was never voting for him. The right is doing all they can to distract from the real issues because they don't have solutions but just complaints.

Obama is a joke...and to think I voted for him...nothing but same 'ol same 'ol on his staff. He is even worse than Bush. At least Bush maintained the dignity of the office and didn't go on the friggin Tonight Show for crissakes!
I just put a bumper sticker on my car: One Big Ass Mistake America (first letter of each word is red for O-B-A-M-A! I've gotten SO many positive responses, everyone wants to know where I got it!! And they are Democrat friends asking!

If any Democrats expected (and in red states Dems did vote for Bush) that Obama could turn this mess around in two months or less, they thought they elected Santa Claus and not a president. It's going to take time. The Democrats I know are feeling good about all he has done so far, and that it's not Palin and McCain. Unlike the last 8 years though, the Dems will be watching what happens, and speak out when he does wrong; but he wasn't the Messiah and expecting him to be means the dems you are talking to weren't very mature.

As for the Tonight show, to think that lowered the dignity of the office is about like the flag pin that became so important to the right wingers during the campaign. Amazing how easy it is to distract some people! In a Bubble bad. Out of a Bubble bad! Talk direct to the people bad/good/who cares because we have Sean/Rush/Michael to tell us what to think. This is what got us where we are and if you don't know where we are, you have been watching/reading the alternative reality sources where the mere possibility that a baby born in another country would negate their right to be considered natural born American citizens because their mom was a teen. Amazing mentality but sadly it works with some out there.

And I let your comment through even with the crudeness, Donna, but not again. Stick to issues, not insults and you can disagree here. Insult others and you are not going to see your words on this blog and need to get your own where doubtless all your readers will like everything you say...
