He got some photos of it. He was taking a sequence as fast as he could and it shows up but it's hard in a photo to see the green as it looks more yellow-green. I will put it up at the bottom of the photos as an update. There are several of them that show the echo but in this one you can see a bird flying and if you look closely that it's not the sun with a small line at the bottom that shows the sun has gone down. He said the sky should have been clearer to truly get that little mini echo. This was more of a flash.

The sun makes its slow descent and then all at once magically disappears. Wish I were there.

Have you ever seen the green flash? I used to live down in Mission Beach and watched a lot of sunsets but have yet to see one.
