the ocean constantly changed the whole time we were there. The most amazing thing was the sound of the sea. When it was coming in, it made a roaring sound I've never heard, like a huge engine. It was almost intimidating. When I first heard it, I looked around for from where it was coming. I've been around the ocean my whole life but something about that shelf led to a roar I'd never heard. It was absolutely awesome-- way beyond the ordinary sound of waves breaking.
