mid valley flood from the air

I saw this YouTube from the air showing what was going on with the flooding places other than where I live. I've seen it this high before but fortunately it doesn't happen often that we get 7" of rain in just a couple of days.

Regular blogging will resume tomorrow... I think :)

wow, what a great way to view the flooding. What is the rain forecast for the next week? You guys still okay?

Wow. 7 inches is a heck of a lot, even for the northwest.

Yes, our creek is barely out of the banks. The bigger mess now will be fixing fences and checking banks to be sure there aren't places undermined that would have a sheep falling into the still fast moving water.

MY LORD! That Video is something...! I pray you and Farm-Boss don't have too much flooding...!

We had our share and hope we don't see flooding again for another 10 or more years. We were fortunate though that the barns stayed dry and we didn't have to put up barriers. Fences have to be redone every so often anyway and we'll just build them better than last time. For now the sheep are out of such places as we aren't confident about the banks and there is a lot of mud on the grass anyway. We are lucky we didn't get the snow along with it that other places got. I hope that luck holds.
