There are times when it's harder than others to feel upbeat. This has been one of those week-ends with the losses our country has experienced, and the individuals who are suffering. We keep going through this. Now, here we are as a people, once again looking at senseless killings and trying to make sense of it-- when that's really impossible.
I wish I had answers, but right now, it's hard to see any that uplift. I did go looking, and this site
What's your grief gathered together quotes and images.
So beautifully written in the wake of yesterday's tragedy...thank you...
ReplyDeleteThis most recent massacre finally pushed me into the place of no hope. I am in despair over our inability to ever change this.
ReplyDeleteI wish we could get the extreme elements on both sides to use common sense which is-- ban the sale of assault style rifles and stop anyone on the terrorist watch lists from buying guns. Unfortunately the far left immediately talks taking all guns, which won't happen, but gives the right wing talking points. Obama gave a good answer to it on a recent town hall. Check it out: I'm not looking to disarm you. The more a few say it's all guns, the less likely anything will happen. The right is scared of the slippery slope. Obama was good at what he said.
ReplyDeleteI have a blog for tomorrow more on the emotional end of this.
