I was first in Tucson in 1965 and have been back many times since-- experiencing wonderful times almost always. This year, I won't be in Arizona for Christmas. Its sounds, sites and scents will always though be in my heart.
I did the following video in 2012. I take so many photos with the idea I can bring some back to Oregon which will always stoke memories. This time we had a lot of work to do on the house; so once again there wasn't enough time to do all that I love. But what I love the most is to be in this home, to sit on the patio and watch and listen to the birds. That I had hours and hours of to take back to Oregon with me in my heart.
That reflection in the pond is my favorite of the pictures. Love Tucson and all the are around there.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda. It's hard to cut down to just a few when we took so many. Christmas week will be fantastic there as we got rain again and snow on the hills. As that melts, Romero will be full. I've hiked there where the water was up to my hips and that could come this next week. We are though on our way back to Oregon for Christmas with family and then lambing :)

ReplyDeleteGood Morning,
ReplyDeleteSince I discovered your blog, I have visited quite often for Tucson memories. Today's post with those pictures and video is like a most wished for X-mas gift to me. For a while I was completely immersed in it recalling the good old time in Tucson.
I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you good wishes for the season.
Namaste.
Thank you for telling me that, p. I will put up more photos from Tucson and our house down there in 2015. Even though I am now gone from there and back at our small ranch in Oregon, Tucson is also in my heart :). I think of it often as it is to me a very magical place.
