I love the total expressiveness of "Summer Roses". The photographs and the poem and the size of the font even how it goes with your picture. The whole presentation of the intimate relationship.
Such beautiful photographs, Rain. I always think roses are the most sensual flower. We found wild roses on one of our walks the other day, many thorns, but a fragrance that really said Rose.
I didn't really begin to appreciate roses until I was about 50. I grew up with them and took them for granted, I think. Your poem is a sensuous one, Rain, and I'm wondering who you had in mind when you wrote it? Beautiful photos. We have a few wonderful rose gardens on campus named in memory of deceased long-ago teachers. I love to cut from these gardens, but it is so hot right now, that the roses are droopy.
