It's a challenge to find a good way to advertise, and then to describe the offering in a way people can understand what it is.

Like the Tucson house, for those who want a country club, golf course type house, it's not ours. We have a homey, very art-filled property with desert right outside the door. One of our first renters was very unhappy as they had wanted something fancier and that year they had decided too late to get something. These properties book up fast for the four main months. We already have those wanting 2016 and basically renters have to know what they want early or they won't get it. Once we put homey in our ad, that helped get us the right people. Also when people know we accept pets, they kind of know something about the house.Rain Trueaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07994628226501093880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22918248.post-35711252748560032332014-12-27T08:07:37.535-08:002014-12-27T08:07:37.535-08:00I don't know anything about marketing, but I d...I don't know anything about marketing, but I do know that staying engaged with world and connecting on all the levels that you do are wonderful things.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22918248.post-65087505185752621072014-12-27T06:27:30.977-08:002014-12-27T06:27:30.977-08:00I think marketing has changed leaps and bounds wit...I think marketing has changed leaps and bounds with the new technologies. I also think you may have to focus on a specific audience, but how you find that is harder. I know that with our direct market meats, we purchase from a local outlet. But it is expensive and we do not buy from them as often as we would like.Taborhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15257045780724471840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22918248.post-82848264460251931312014-12-27T05:27:44.493-08:002014-12-27T05:27:44.493-08:00I share your frustration about book promotion. My daughter is in advertising for radio, and she really knows how to bring in the clients. Does a great job.Linda Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17237332954767037400noreply@blogger.com
